Job summary

CSL is seeking an entry-level donor center support role in Texas. You will greet donors, guide them through registration, and assist in the screening process to ensure donor suitability for plasma pheresis.

After training, you may educate donors on the therapeutic products derived from donated plasma and center policies. You will perform basic health screening procedures, record data in the electronic system, and help maintain a safe, compliant work environment in line with SOPs and OSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in a medical or health provider setting.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and complete registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors in screening procedures per SOPs, including health history review and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screenings such as blood pressure, pulse, weight and temperature; conduct finger sticks for hematocrit/total protein.
• Educate new donors on therapeutic products when trained, including screening tests and center policies.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE and OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information.
• May cross-train in other areas and support bilingual needs as required.
