Job summary

CSL is seeking staff at a plasma collection center in Colorado to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening process. You will work under SOPs to assess health histories, perform basic medical questions, and conduct essential health screenings including finger-stick tests.

Role involves registering donors, answering inquiries, monitoring donor safety, and maintaining accurate electronic records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably healthcare.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history review and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; finger-stick hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate new donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer phones or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Protect confidentiality of personnel and donor information.

Education
