Job summary

CSL is hiring at its plasma collection center in Colorado Springs for a registration and screening assistant. The role involves greeting donors, guiding them through screening, and entering data into the donor information system.

You may educate donors on post-donation information and assist with phone inquiries. The position requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months of clerical or customer service experience, with basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process according to SOPs, including health history, medical questions, and health screening procedures.
• Educate new donors on the use of products from donated plasma after training, including screening tests, appointment system, and center policies.
• Register applicants and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate staff as needed.
• Monitor donor reactions during and after pheresis and notify staff of any issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of all donor, personnel, and center information.
• May cross-train in other areas and support bilingual needs as required.
