Job summary

CSL is seeking an individual to support a plasma collection center as a donor screening and registration assistant. You will greet donors, verify eligibility, perform health screenings, and enter donor information into the center system.

The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and courteous service in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include answering calls, assisting with referrals to medical staff when needed, and maintaining confidentiality of donor data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety policies and center procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process according to SOPs
• Greet donors and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff
• Monitor donor comfort and safety during and after donation, alerting staff as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure supplies are available
