Job summary

CSL in Houston is seeking an on-site front desk donor coordinator to support plasma collection operations. You will greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration and screening processes in line with SOPs.

You will perform health screenings, assist with self-reported histories, collect samples via finger stick, and help educate donors on procedures and policies. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis during registration.
• Assist donors through screening in line with SOPs, including health history and basic medical questions; perform health screening checks.
• Perform finger stick for hematocrit and total protein levels as part of donor testing.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products, screening, appointments, and center policies after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed according to training and center needs.
• Answer phone calls and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor for donor reactions during or after pheresis and alert staff as required.
• Flag donor flow issues to Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system per SOPs.
• Understand policies around hyperimmune programs at the center if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
