Job summary

CSL is seeking a Front Desk/Donor Services role at our Washington plasma collection center. You will greet donors, conduct registrations, and assist in screening under SOPs to verify donor eligibility for plasma pheresis.

Role includes educating donors on procedures, policies, and center operations, with attention to accuracy in data entry and donor care. Training and potential bilingual duties may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months of clerical or customer service experience, preferably in medical settings.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors in screening procedures and health history review.
• Explain the donation process and center policies to donors.
• Register and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for any adverse reactions during/after pheresis.
• Inform supervisor of donor flow issues and disruptions.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Understand policies related to hyper immune programs when applicable.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, safe work environment and follow safety policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center data.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed and assist with other duties.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the organization's discretion.
