Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Donor Center Associate to greet donors, confirm eligibility, and guide them through the screening and registration steps. The role involves health screenings under SOPs, recording donor information, and coordinating communications with medical staff as needed.

You'll assist with basic math and data entry, maintain a clean environment, and support donor flow while upholding safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ months clerical or customer service experience.
• Preference for experience in medical or health-provider setting.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability through registration procedures.
• Assist donors with screening procedures per SOPs, including health history, medical questions, and health screenings such as BP, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Explain screening and donation processes to donors and provide information on center policies and nutrition as needed.
• Register and transfer donors as required after appropriate training.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
