Job summary

CSL Vifor in Topeka, Kansas is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Donor Center Registrar to greet donors and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis. You will guide applicants through registration and screening steps, and maintain accurate donor records.

As a frontline team member, you will perform basic health measurements, answer questions, and support safe, compliant operations while upholding patient privacy and center policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability
• Assist qualified donors in the screening process per SOPs, including health history questions and referrals to staff
• Educate donors on the screening process, tests, appointment system, fees, policies, and nutrition
• Register and transfer donors based on training and center needs
• Answer telephone and transfer calls to appropriate staff
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after the pheresis process and notify staff
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system
• Understand policies related to hyper immune programs if applicable
• Maintain a clean, efficient work area and ensure supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information
• Cross-train in other areas to meet business needs
• Bilingual skills may be required to meet business needs
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
