Job summary

CSL Vifor Clifton Plasma Center is seeking a donor services associate to greet donors, verify eligibility for plasma pheresis, and guide them through the registration and screening steps in a busy center.

Responsibilities include performing health checks (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature), finger-stick sampling for hematocrit and total protein, assisting with screening questions, answering inquiries, and recording donor data accurately in the electronic system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability for pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger-stick sampling for hematocrit and total protein as needed.
• May educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma after training and answer donor questions.
• Register and transfer donors as needed and answer incoming calls or route to staff.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic system and ensure confidentiality and safety compliance.
