Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Center Assistant at our plasma donation center in Lawrence, Kansas. You will greet donors and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis, supporting the screening process and donor registration.

Under SOPs you will perform health screenings, document data accurately, and assist center operations. Training is provided, with potential for bilingual support and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service in medical/health setting preferred.
• Basic math calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist with screening procedures, health history, and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screenings: blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed; answer phone inquiries.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic management system.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and potential cross-training.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
