Job summary

CSL Vifor operates plasma collection centers and seeks a donor screening assistant who greets donors, conducts eligibility checks, and records data in our electronic system.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-reported health histories, basic health screenings, and explaining the donor process. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality are required in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and assist with screening procedures.
• Assist donors in completing screening per SOPs: health history, questions, and health checks.
• Educate donors on screening process, tests performed, appointment system, policies, nutrition, and center information.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer the telephone and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor safety during and after pheresis and report issues to staff.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow problems and maintain accurate donor data in the electronic system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
