Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor services associate at our plasma collection center. You will greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening and registration process.

Under SOPs you will perform health screenings, document data, answer questions, and coordinate with medical staff. The role may involve bilingual duties, cross-training, and maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist with donor screening procedures per SOPs and health history checks.
• Educate donors on screening, tests, appointment system, and center policies.
• Register and transfer donors as training allows.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and alert staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies.
• Maintain donor and center confidentiality.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
