Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor screening assistant at our Illinois plasma collection center. You will greet donors, conduct registrations, and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.

Reporting to the Assistant Center Manager, you will handle screening procedures, health checks, and data entry with a focus on accuracy and donor service. The role involves educational outreach to donors about the donation process, policies, and safety.

Qualifications

• Assist donors with screening procedures per SOP.
• Record donor data accurately in systems.
• Answer donor and caller questions professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist donors in completing the screening process and health checks.
• Educate donors on the screening process, health tests, appointment system, and center policies.
• Register donors and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer telephone calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
