Job summary

CSL is seeking to fill a front-line donor center registrar role in Illinois. You will greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration for plasma pheresis. After training, you may educate donors on the screening process and center policies.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and experience in clerical or customer service, preferably in a medical setting, with duties including health screening and accurate data recording.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the discretion of the organization, to meet the needs of the business

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and guide them through registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including health history and basic medical questions, and perform health screening procedures
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system
• Answer telephone inquiries or transfer calls to appropriate staff and maintain donor flow communication
• Monitor donors for adverse reactions during and after the pheresis process and alert staff as needed
