Job summary

CSL Plasma in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an initial donor services assistant responsible for greeting donors, registering them and guiding them through the screening steps before pheresis. You will work under the Assistant Center Manager and follow SOPs to ensure donor safety and data accuracy.

Primary duties include assisting donors with health history, basic medical questions, performing blood pressure checks, temperature, weight, and signaling when medical staff should engage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably healthcare.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process per SOPs and health history review.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and communicate with medical staff as needed.
• Perform health screening tasks such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight and finger stick when appropriate.
• Ensure center policies, safety protocols, and privacy requirements are followed.
