Job summary

CSL Vifor in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Donor Center Assistant to greet donors and guide them through the screening and registration process for plasma pheresis. You will verify donor suitability, collect basic health information, and help ensure a smooth, compliant donation experience.

Responsibilities include performing health checks, maintaining accurate donor records in the electronic system, answering questions, and supporting the center team while upholding safety and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in the screening process, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Answer donor questions, educate on procedures, and refer to medical staff when needed.
• Monitor donors for adverse reactions and escalate to staff as required.
