Job summary

CSL in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a donor screening assistant for the plasma collection center. You will greet donors, conduct registration procedures, verify suitability for plasma pheresis, and perform health screenings such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products made from plasma, answer questions, and help with donor registration and data entry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and assist with screening procedures per SOPs.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Answer calls and direct questions to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor safety during and after the pheresis process and alert staff if issues arise.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure sufficient supplies are available.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor, personnel and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
