Job summary

CSL is seeking a friendly donor center receptionist to greet donors and guide them through registration for plasma pheresis, ensuring eligibility and accuracy.

You will assist with screening procedures, perform basic health checks, record donor data in the electronic system, and respond to donor questions in a timely, confidential manner. The role may involve cross-training and bilingual communication to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service role.
• Basic math calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist with donor screening: health history, medical questions, and refer to medical staff as needed.
• Perform health checks: blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on procedures, products, appointments, policies, nutrition, and center information.
• Register and transfer donors as needed; answer calls or route to staff; maintain donor data in the system.
• Monitor donors for reactions and notify staff; follow SOPs and safety policies; maintain confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required; perform other duties as assigned.
