Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Donor Center Registrar to greet donors, conduct essential registration steps, and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis. The role includes assisting with screening procedures, health history reviews, and basic health checks such as blood pressure and temperature.

Upon training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma, center policies, fees, and nutrition. Cross-training and bilingual support may be required to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and assisting with registration to verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors with screening procedures, including health history questions and basic medical checks.
• Explain screening process, health tests, appointment policy, and center rules to new donors; answer questions.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
