Job summary

CSL Plasma in San Antonio, TX is seeking a dedicated team member to support the pheresis process. You will prepare the donor and equipment, monitor the procedure, and respond to alarms with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, linking equipment to donors in the electronic system, and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to any reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents with the PDA and link equipment to donors in the donor information system.
