Job summary

World Central Kitchen is seeking a Fundraising Operations Coordinator in Washington to join the Development team. You will enter donor and gift data into Salesforce NPSP, process gifts, answer donor inquiries, and provide excellent customer service to supporters of our mission.

Responsibilities include retrieving gift information, cleaning and transforming data, reconciling with the Finance system, and meeting gift-entry deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM databases in a fundraising capacity.
• Experience in a customer service capacity.
• Strong accuracy, timeliness, clarity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions.
• Ability to learn new technologies; familiarity with Asana or Salesforce is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and/or Apple applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication to engage donors, volunteers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve gift information from external sources.
• Review gift information and identify gifts needing special handling.
• Enter gifts into Salesforce and transform data.
• Ensure donor information accuracy and gift quality.
• Reconcile files with the Finance platform.
• Contribute to team projects and identify process improvements.
• Meet gift entry deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
