Job summary

Compass Family Services seeks a Development Operations Manager to oversee the CRM, donor data integrity, and gift processing for the Development team. You will ensure accurate reconciliation with Finance and support reporting and donor stewardship across campaigns.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvements, meticulous record-keeping, and cross-team collaboration to enhance donor experiences and fundraising outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in development operations or nonprofit administration.
• Experience managing donor databases/CRMs; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Experience with gift processing, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate donor and financial records.
• Strong proficiency in data management, reporting, spreadsheets, and database systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to work cross-functionally and clearly explain complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Process all contributions and log gifts into Salesforce.
• Maintain accurate donor, gift, pledge, and prospect records; generate acknowledgements.
• Create reports, dashboards, and lists to support fundraising strategy and planning.
• Coordinate with Finance for monthly revenue reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with events, In-Kind deliveries, and donor research as needed.
