Job summary

World Central Kitchen, Inc. seeks an Associate, Fundraising Systems and Research to strengthen fundraising data infrastructure and ensure reliable data for donor engagement and growth.

The role sits in Development Operations, focusing on data hygiene, process streamlining, Salesforce NPSP admin, and QA of reports and dashboards. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, tech-curious, and eager to improve data quality, streamline workflows, support prospecting, and contribute to scalable fundraising

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in nonprofit fundraising ops, data mgmt, or prospect research.
• 2+ years CRM experience with a fundraising focus; Salesforce NPSP preferred.
• Experience researching donors using CRM data and public sources.
• Strong analytics and reporting skills, with dashboard experience.
• Commitment to accuracy, data integrity, and process improvement.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Translate team needs into data or systems tasks and track progress.
• Conduct targeted prospect research to support donor relations and major gifts.
• Ensure research findings are reflected in CRM data for segmentation and pipelines.
• Help develop tools for prospect identification and portfolio-building.
• Provide CRM best-practices guidance and troubleshooting to donor-facing teams.
• Maintain data quality through audits, deduplication, and correcting inconsistencies.
• Standardize naming, address hygiene, and field completeness in Salesforce.
• Audit and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Salesforce.
• Build ad-hoc reports and lists to support data validation and troubleshooting.
• Execute accurate list pulls for fundraising activities and document criteria.
• Backup for stewardship-related list pulls to ensure donor outreach continuity.
• Perform basic Salesforce admin tasks: user setup, permission sets, access troubleshooting.
• Identify data/process bottlenecks and recommend scalable improvements.
• Suggest system/configuration changes and collaborate on enhancements.
• Draft and maintain SOPs for data management and reporting.
• Contribute to internal knowledge base for onboarding and cross-training.
• Create and configure online donation campaign pages for disaster activations.
