Job summary

World Central Kitchen is seeking a Fundraising Operations Coordinator in Washington, DC to join our Development team. This full-time, non-exempt role processes donations, enters donor and gift data into Salesforce, handles inquiries, and ensures accuracy and timeliness in every transaction.

You will retrieve gift information, perform data cleansing, reconcile files to the Finance platform, and support special projects while maintaining donor confidentiality and building strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM databases in a fundraising capacity.
• Prior experience in a customer service capacity.
• Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, timeliness, clarity, and detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to follow documented and verbal instructions and ask clarifying questions as appropriate.
• Ability to learn new technologies and platforms quickly; familiarity with Asana, Salesforce, or similar tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and/or Apple applications.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with donors, volunteers, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve gift information from various external sources.
• Review gift information and identify gifts needing special handling.
• Enter gifts into Salesforce and transform donor data.
• Review gift entries for quality and accuracy with donor information.
• Reconcile files to the Finance platform.
• Contribute to team projects as assigned.
• Identify areas for improvements related to gift processing.
• Meet gift entry deadlines and maintain confidentiality of gifts and donors.
• Provide prompt responses to internal ad hoc requests for gift information.
• Contribute to team projects as assigned.
