Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor center assistant to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration and screening processes. You'll help collect health information, perform basic health checks, and ensure donor confidentiality in a fast-paced center environment.

The role supports donor screening, data entry, and safety compliance, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within the center’s operations. High school diploma and basic math skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and guide them through registration procedures to verify eligibility for plasma pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors with screening procedures, including health history, basic medical questions, and admin tasks.
• Perform health screening like blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; conduct finger sticks for hematocrit and total protein.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor for donor reactions and escalate to staff when necessary.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic management system per SOPs.
• Protect donor privacy and comply with HSE/OSHA policies and center confidentiality.
