Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate in Franklin II to support donated goods operations.

You will engage donors, handle donations, and move merchandise through backroom areas and the DEC, balancing safety, productivity, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Under store leadership, you will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, load trailers, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while delivering excellent donor service

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation intake, production, warehouse, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to lift/move donated goods and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• GREET donors professionally and provide excellent service to ensure a positive donation experience.
• Receive, unload, and move donated goods in backroom operations and DEC safely.
• Operate material handling equipment per training and keep areas organized and clean.
• Follow safety guidelines and support a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
