Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate to support donated goods operations. You will deliver a great donor experience while safely receiving and moving donated merchandise, supporting production, and store replenishment.

This role balances donor service, safety, productivity, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Under store leadership, you will handle backroom duties, operate equipment as trained (forklifts/pallet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation intake, production, warehouse, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to balance donor interactions with operational and backroom responsibilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move donated goods as required.

Responsibilities

• Donor Experience: Greet donors, provide receipts, and ensure a positive donation experience.
• Material Handler & Backroom Operations: Safely loading/unloading, staging, and moving donated goods.
• Safety & Operational Standards: Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Schedule & Flexibility: Maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
