Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate in Lawrenceburg. You will support donated goods operations, greet donors, and move merchandise through backroom workflows to enable store replenishment.

In a fast-paced setting, you will operate basic material handling equipment, follow safety guidelines, and balance donor service with accuracy. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation intake, production, warehouse, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to balance donor interactions with operational responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to follow safety procedures consistently and work safely around donors and goods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and move donated items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a GREAT donor experience by greeting donors, issuing receipts, and thanking donors.
• Receive donated goods following safety and operational guidelines.
• Assist donors with unloading and directions to ensure a safe, efficient experience.
• Move donated merchandise in backroom areas with proper equipment handling.
• Support loading/unloading of trailers and staging of goods for processing.
