Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donor Acquisition Specialist to deliver exceptional donor service at an Attended Donation Center. You will greet donors, process donations, and maintain accurate receipts and records, following GWH guidelines to maximize efficiency and support our mission.

This role requires strong customer service, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced nonprofit environment while upholding safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors to accept donations with a cheerful and pleasant disposition.
• Perform GRATIS steps when accepting donations and assist donors with unloading.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue receipts to donors.
• Communicate clearly with the manager, Transportation Department, and leadership.
• Assist with loading/unloading donations and keeping the work area safe and organized.
