Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donation Center Attendant to greet donors, process donations, and ensure accurate receipt documentation. The role emphasizes friendly donor interactions, adhering to GWH procedures, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, providing receipts, assisting donors with unloading, and supporting safety and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet each donor to accept donations with a cheerful and pleasant disposition.
• Perform GRATIS when accepting donations: Greet, Receipt, Assist, Thank, Invite, Sort.
• Provide excellent customer service, show appreciation to donors, and invite them to return.
• Collect donations using donation carts and sort by category.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed receipts.
