Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a friendly Donor Services Associate to provide world-class donor experience by greeting donors, accepting and sorting donations, and processing them according to guidelines. You will maintain accurate records and ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed on site.

The role involves assisting with loading/unloading equipment, staging donations, and helping move items to the sales floor. A flexible schedule and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting each donor promptly and showing appreciation.
• Collect donations using donation carts and sort them into proper categories as required.
• Accept furniture donations, place them in staging areas, and assist in moving to the sales floor upon pricing.
• Accurately record donations using the donor tablet and issue donation receipts to donors.
• Ensure PPE is used properly and safety standards are followed.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment as needed and maintain safety.
