Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate in Dickson, TN. The role supports donated goods operations, greets donors, and safely handles merchandise, while maintaining orderly backroom areas and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include donor engagement, material movement, trailer loading, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation, production, warehouse or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to lift/move donated goods as required.
• Strong safety and quality focus in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a GREAT donor experience by greeting donors, issuing receipts, and providing excellent service.
• Move, load, unload, and stage donated goods; operate backroom equipment as trained.
• Follow safety policies, housekeeping standards, and safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
