Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate to enhance donor experiences and manage backroom operations.

You will safely receive, move, and stage donated merchandise, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help maintain efficient flow through the Donation Express Center. You’ll balance donor service with safety, productivity, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment, supporting store performance and production needs while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation intake, production, warehouse, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Bilingual language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a GREAT donor experience by greeting donors and providing service.
• Receive, move, and stage donated goods in backroom and DEC areas safely.
• Operate material handling equipment per training and safety rules.
• Maintain organized backrooms, staging, and trailer areas for daily workflow.
• Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe, efficient workplace.
• Support flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
