Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Team Lead in Nashville. The role guides donors, shoppers, and staff while coordinating donation intake and backroom flow to ensure efficiency and safety.

Lead and coach a team, reinforce standard work, and maintain a positive donor experience. The position supports frontline operations and ensures compliance with safety and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication to support clear, respectful interactions with shoppers and team members.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced front-end environment.
• Ability to learn and consistently follow established processes, systems, equipment use, and operating procedures.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop team members in operational procedures and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily donation intake activity and backroom workflow.
• Lead, coach, and supervise Donor Specialists / Material Handlers.
• Support onboarding and on-the-job training with safety practices and standard work.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and brand standards across donation areas and backrooms.
