Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee in Smyrna is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate to support donated goods operations by delivering an excellent donor experience while safely receiving, handling, and moving donations through the backroom and Donation Express Center.

You will help with loading/unloading, operating basic material handling equipment, and maintaining clean, safe work areas, balancing donor service with productivity in a fast-paced environment under

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in retail/donation settings preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, lift, and move donated goods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors professionally and assist with their needs to ensure a positive donation experience.
• Receive donated goods in accordance with safety and donation guidelines.
• Load, unload, and stage donated goods, including trailers and trucks.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as trained and authorized.
• Maintain clean, organized backroom areas to support daily workflow and safety.
