Job summary

CSL Vifor is hiring for a center-based trainer to supervise reception staff and optimize donor flow at the Burlington, NC center. You will ensure donor screening follows SOPs and educate donors on plasma-derived products.

You will also handle donor communications, monitor safety during pheresis, and work with the team to improve operations. The role requires prior clerical/customer service experience, basic math skills, and knowledge of pheresis processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training.
• Minimum of 18 months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in health care of plasma collection environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• General knowledge of plasma pheresis operation.

Responsibilities

• Train reception staff and facilitate efficient donor flow through the center.
• Assist donors with the screening process per SOPs.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products derived from donated plasma.
• Answer the telephone and provide information to callers.
• Monitor donor reactions during pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Maximize donor flow by allocating staff and resources to tasks and areas.
• Calibrate equipment daily and document issues, replacing equipment as needed.
• Provide guidance and training on processes to staff as required.
• Support center management with scheduling, donor relations and procedural issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system per SOPs.
• Adhere to Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) and OSHA policies.
