Job summary

CSL Vifor in Raleigh, NC seeks a donor center greeter to welcome donors, guide through registration, and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis. You will follow SOPs and ensure accurate data entry at the center.

The role includes assisting with donor screening, health history review, basic medical questions, post-donation care, and possible donor education on therapeutic products. Some cross-training and bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on screening process, health tests, appointment system, center policies and nutrition, and answer donor questions professionally.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center requirements.
• Answer phone calls or route inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
• Monitor donor for reactions during or after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
