Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service, preferably in medical settings.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist in screening and registration per SOPs.
• Explain screening process, tests, appointment system and policies.
• Refer donors to medical staff when appropriate.
• Answer calls and route to staff as needed.
• Monitor donor safety during and after pheresis.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor management system.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
