Job summary

Grifols in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead donor center operations, ensuring donor safety, regulatory compliance, and production targets. The role provides direct leadership to frontline staff across donor floor operations and aligns activities with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

You will supervise personnel functions, collaborate with Training and Quality teams, manage budgets and scheduling, and drive continuous improvements while reporting to the Center Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, business, nursing, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee donor center operations in absence of Center Manager.
• Lead training and quality goals with staff.
• Coach staff and manage performance via Operations Supervisors.
• Monitor operations and implement efficiency improvements.
• Handle personnel functions: hiring, development, disciplinary actions and records.
• Assist with budget planning and control costs.
• Delegate and supervise production staff; schedule creation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and cGMP standards.
• Maintain donor recruitment and community donor engagement.
