Job summary

Grifols is seeking an Operations Manager to lead donor center operations, ensuring donor safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production goals. You will supervise frontline staff on the donor floor and ensure all activities align with SOPs and cGMP requirements, serving as Center Manager in their absence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a clinical or business environment.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the donor center when the Center Manager is not present.
• Collaborates with Training and Quality staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met.
• Coaches and leads through effective feedback to employees through the Operations Supervisor(s).
• Monitors and evaluates operations and develops action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise implementation.
• Manages personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and records.”,
• Partners with the center manager in budget preparation and oversees facility to achieve production targets and quality goals at the cost structure.
• Directs and supervises employees and creates/manages work schedules.
• Ensures capability to perform all tasks within the center and covers production roles as needed.
• Maintains facility condition, handles freezer management and responds to alarms.
