Job summary

Grifols, S.A. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day donor center operations, ensuring donor safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production goals.

The role provides direct leadership to frontline staff across donor floor operations and aligns center activities with SOPs and FDA-required standards. The position reports to the Center Manager, may act in their absence, and manages a center with over 50,000 liters capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• Typically 3+ years of related experience in clinical or general business; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the donor center when the Center Manager is not present.
• Collaborates with Training and Quality staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met.
• Coaches and leads through effective feedback to employees through the Operations Supervisor(s).
• Monitor and evaluate operations; develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise improvements.
• Responsible for personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and records.
• Oversees budget preparation and the facility to achieve production targets and quality goals at the agreed-upon cost structure.
