Job summary

Grifols seeks an Operations Manager to join the donor center leadership team in Owensboro, Kentucky. This role oversees day-to-day operations, ensures donor safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production goals while guiding frontline staff across donor floor operations.

The position requires strong leadership, experience in a regulated medical environment, and the ability to align activities with SOPs and FDA, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, business, nursing, finance, or related field.
• Experience in a medical or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• 3+ years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all donor center operations when Center Manager is not present.
• Collaborates with Training and Quality staff to meet training and quality goals.
• Leads through effective feedback to Operations Supervisor(s).
• Monitors operations and develops action plans to maximize center efficiency and oversee improvements.
• Manages personnel functions including hiring, assignment, training, discipline, and records.
• Participates in budgeting and oversees facility to achieve targets and cost goals.
• Delegates and monitors performance of operations supervisors.
• Directs and schedules staff and tasks.
• Ensures capability to perform all center tasks; covers production roles when needed.
