Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience performing phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ability to perform any/all tasks within the plasma center; supervise donor flow.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and records to maintain high production standards.
• Attend required training sessions and meetings; document records accurately.
• Assist Center Manager in keeping the facility neat, clean and equipment in good condition.
• Submit timely reports; assist in donor funds control.
• Assist in training of new employees and retraining of current staff.
• Build rapport with donors to support long-term donation.
• Report unsafe situations to area lead, supervisor, or manager.
• May be trained to repair plasma center equipment.
