Job summary

Grifols is seeking an experienced Plasma Center Operations Manager to lead day-to-day donor center activities and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and production goals. This role requires strong leadership of frontline staff across donor floor operations and adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Center Manager, you will manage hiring, training, quality goals, budgets, and scheduling while maintaining facility and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred; plasma or whole blood experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all donor center operations when the Center Manager is not present.
• Coaches and leads through effective feedback to staff.
• Monitors and evaluates operations; develops action plans to maximize efficiency.
• Manages hiring, assignment and direction of work, training, disciplinary actions, and personnel records.
• Oversees budget preparation with Center Manager and ensures production targets and quality goals are met within cost structure.
• Directs and supervises operations staff; creates and manages work schedules.
• Ensures donor center facility and equipment are maintained; handles freezer management and plasma shipments.
• Ensures compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, and related regulations.
