Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; certification as phlebotomist, donor/plasma processor, and trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience in phlebotomy and plasma processing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ability to perform any/all tasks within the plasma center; fulfill the role of production employees and supervise donor flow.
• Learn and maintain familiarity and compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and all manufacturing records to maintain high production standards per regulations.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; ensure accurate documentation of records.
• Assist in training new employees and retraining current staff; communicate with other service areas for quality.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction and support long-term donation.
• Submit timely and accurate center reports; assist in donor funds control as directed.
