Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana seeks a hands-on supervisor to lead production staff, coordinate donation processing, and maintain backroom efficiency. You will monitor quality, manage scheduling, and support the store manager in achieving sales goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with supervisory experience or equivalent combination.
Strong English communication and reading/writing skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience leading teams in retail, production, or related settings preferred.
Reliable transportation and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (minimum 110 garments/hour, 90% quality).
Ensure backroom workflow is efficient and donations processed promptly.
Conduct quality checks on merchandise before sales floor placement.
Maintain store cleanliness and safety in backroom areas.
Coordinate scheduling to cover store operations and meet production targets.
Assist in coaching and developing production staff and documenting Training.
Communicate needs with transportation and district managers daily.
Handle cash register duties only in emergencies.
