Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana in New Orleans is seeking a Store Production Supervisor to lead donation intake, processing, and merchandising operations. You will supervise production staff, monitor quality, and ensure safety and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include maximizing thrift-store flow from donation door to floor, coaching employees, coordinating with transportation and district managers, and maintaining clean, hazard-free backrooms while meeting daily production

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year supervisory experience or equivalent.
Strong leadership, mentoring and training abilities is preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (minimum 110 garments/hour with 90% quality).
Ensure backroom workflow and donation processing optimize sales and minimize waste.
Conduct quality checks on merchandise before placing on sales floor.
Monitor rack counts and adjust processes to maintain accuracy.
Coordinate supplies and communicate daily needs with transport and District Managers.
Maintain safe backroom conditions and enforce safety policies.
