Job summary

Goodwill Dallas is seeking a Donation Attendant to greet donors and process donations at the Dallas, TX center. You will handle donations, issue receipts, help with lifting items, and keep the stockroom organized and safe while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include sorting donations by category, pricing miscellaneous hard goods, and ensuring cleanliness in the production area. A courteous, professional demeanor and basic English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Familiarity with garment classification (e.g., gowns, shirts, pants).

Responsibilities

• Greet each donor/customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Receive donations politely and professionally; issue donation receipts.
• Assist donors with lifting items in and out of vehicles.
• Sort donations into appropriate categories and determine quality.
• Sort and price miscellaneous hard goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area and/or trailer.
