Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Dallas Inc. is seeking an Entry to Part-Time Donation Attendant in ALLEN, TX to greet donors and process donations. The role includes receiving donations, issuing receipts, assisting with lifting items, and maintaining the stockroom with a focus on customer service.

The position requires English proficiency, basic math, and the ability to stand for extended periods. No supervisory duties and regular lifting up to 40 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to follow directions and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors/customers with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Receive donations politely and professionally; issue donation receipts.
• Assist donors with lifting items in and out of vehicles.
• Sort donations into appropriate categories and determine quality.
• Sort and price miscellaneous hard goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area and/or trailer.
• Provide general information to donors/customers.
• Refer all donor/customer complaints to management promptly.
