Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Dallas Inc. is seeking a friendly Donation Attendant to greet donors, process donations, issue receipts, and keep the stockroom organized at the Dallas center.

You will assist with lifting items, classify garments, maintain cleanliness, follow safety guidelines, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong English communication and the ability to stand and lift up to 40 pounds. Hours may vary, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Familiarity with garment classification is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors/customers with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Receive donations and issue donation receipts.
• Assist donors with lifting items in and out of vehicles.
• Sort donations into appropriate categories and determine quality.
• Sort and price miscellaneous hard goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area and/or trailer.
• Follow safety guidelines and dress code.
